For 26 years, Casa Cornelia Law Center has been providing quality pro bono legal services to children, families, and asylum seekers who flee torture, human trafficking, and domestic violence.

In 2019, thousands of people fled persecution for a chance of survival and healing. They come from nations around the world, including Cameroon, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Russia, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Among them are children like Josefina*, wh experienced severe domestic violence at home, or asylum seekers like Marcelo* who flee torture, discrimination, and retaliation for their political views and sexual orientation. They travel hundreds, sometimes thousands, of miles to the United States looking for hope, peace, and humanitarian protection.

Through our partnership with the San Diego legal community, the Law Center multiplies its impact by providing quality pro bono legal aid to hundreds among the indigent community in Southern California. You, too, can be part of this mission, donate today.
